The John Lennon Educational Tour Bus is a non-profit mobile audio and video recording studio committed to providing young people with free access to music, media, and message-driven creative expression. Powered by partnerships with leading companies in music, tech, and social impact, the Lennon Bus has spent over 25 years traveling the world — from inner-city schools to global peace summits — to inspire the next generation of creators.
For the 2025 edition of We Are Amsterdam, the Lennon Bus joins us as a cultural and educational partner, aligning on a shared mission: to empower creativity, elevate storytelling, and advocate for peace through art.
What We’re Doing Together
We Are Amsterdam is an independent cultural project that reimagines the city through intimate photography, immersive installations, and public storytelling.
Our first edition is inspired by the legendary 1969 Bed-In for Peace - and together with the Lennon Bus, we are:

Reinterpreting the original Bed-In which took place at the Hilton Amsterdam with a modern portrait photograph

Creating a city-wide photo installation and public activation around a real bed as a storytelling space

Launching a limited-edition NFT, potentially enhanced by custom sound

Documenting the process in collaboration with Lennon Bus creatives and media teams
